Managed Services
Ongoing operation of your network and security estate, fully managed or co-managed, to agreed service levels with a named technical lead, measured reporting and regular governance.
Typical triggers.
- aYou run a network and security estate without enough engineers to operate it well.
- bPatching, monitoring and changes compete with projects for the same people's time.
- cYou want one accountable team for operations, with governance you can show your board.
Run by the people who build it
Projects end. Networks and security estates do not. Ip.Glass managed services keep your environment operating, patched, monitored and improving, with a named technical lead who knows it and a service desk behind them.
We recommend the arrangement that fits your requirements and your team, and we expect to earn a long-term relationship on the strength of it.
How we run it
Everything we operate is instrumented, so service levels and change outcomes are measured rather than asserted. We use modern tooling and AI to take the routine out of operations: triage, documentation, reporting and first-pass analysis move faster, and an engineer checks every change and every report before it reaches you. Within the agreed scope you see the same view we do: projects, tickets, changes and invoices in one place.
Your operating choice
The first decision is who does what. Equipment ownership is a separate, commercial decision and is covered below.
Fully managed
Ip.Glass owns monitoring, changes, incidents and remediation end to end, to the agreed service levels and coverage hours. Your team keeps read access and takes part in governance. Best when you want one accountable party for operations.
Co-managed
Responsibility is shared and written down: typically we own monitoring, patching and change execution, while your team keeps full administrative access and owns some or all first-line work. Governance, reporting and service levels apply to the parts we own. Our most common arrangement.
Ad hoc support
A pre-paid block of hours, from 20, for infrequent requirements. On-demand expertise on a best-effort service level, with no ongoing commitment.
Equipment: yours or ours
Either operating model runs on equipment you own, or on equipment Ip.Glass provides as a service. Equipment-as-a-service bundles hardware, licences, lifecycle and support into one monthly fee, so you buy the result rather than the hardware. Choosing it does not change who does what; that stays with the operating model above.
What is covered
Network operations (NOC), enterprise-wide patching and remediation, ongoing vulnerability management, SIEM and SOAR operation, and the day-to-day administration of your firewall, access and identity estate. Coverage hours, including 24/7 where agreed, are set in each service agreement. See the pages for each service line.
Concrete deliverables, agreed before we start.
